WinDiscover 是一个独立微软博客，专注于报道 Windows、Surface、Xbox、Bing、Copilot 等产品的最新动态、产品和应用分享、使用体验等内容。
创建原因：
Windows 和 Office（Microsoft 365） 在几十年前就在改变人类的生活和生产方式。追踪并分享微软的最新动态可以让大家更加了解微软的产品，尽管微软不是特别在乎消费者领域。
内容规范：
- 非官方：WinDiscover 是独立博客，并不代表微软官方
- 更新频率：我们会在工作日保持对内容进行更新，周末的更新情况不能保证
- 及时性：通常在第一时间发布最新的微软相关消息，确保你可以在第一时间获得微软最新的动态
- 准确性：尽可能提供最准确的内容。如果出现错误，还请理解并在对应的内容页面留言指出错误
如何盈利：
除了托管网站本身的服务器成本外，WinDiscover （几乎）没有太多的运营成本。WinDiscover 网站的图片资源采用了免费存储方案，并且对访问对象进行了白名单设置。
WinDiscover 不会为了盈利专门去发表内容，目前正在通过 Google Adsense 以及 Affiliate 模式进行商业化探索。
网站相关：
WinDiscover 由 WordPress 驱动，采用的主题是 Thea，由 Picturepan2 开发，目前已经在 GitHub 开源。

About WinDiscover
WinDiscover is an non-official Microsoft blog. We cover news about Windows、Surface、Xbox、Bing、Copilot and other Microsoft-related porfolio along with other sections like app recommendations, tutorials and product reviews.
Creation：
Windows and Office have dramatically changed human’s life and production decades ago. Tracking and Sharing news about Microsoft can help us know this company better, even Microsoft does not care too much in consumers business.
Monetization：
Besides the hosting cost, WinDiscover almost have no any other operation costs. Media files on WinDiscover are using free storage plan and we set “whitelist” to disallow the unauthorized visitors.
WinDiscover will not post any contents specifically for profit. Currently, WinDiscover gets paid from Google Adsense and some Affiliate links.
Content Standard：
- non-official: We are not the official blogs from Microsoft. Our reviews/takes don’t represent the official statements.
- Frequency: Update often happens on workdays. For weekends, the update depends on the fact.
- Time: Usually, we will update the latest news about Microsoft once we received it.
- Accuracy：We will keep the content as accurate as we could. But in the news world, mistakes always happen. Let us know if we present something wrong.
- Copyright: We acknowledge each source has its unique value. We will leave the source link to let you know where we get the info.

WinDiscover is powered by WordPress, the theme we used is Thea, developed by Picturepan 2. This theme is open-source, but seems not available any more.
